Legal Counsel

We’re working with a dynamic, global organisation in the life sciences sector that’s seeking an experienced Interim Junior Legal Counsel to join their commercial legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive legal function, working remotely with colleagues across the UK, Europe, and North America. The role offers a broad range of legal work, with a focus on commercial contracts and the opportunity to get involved in data protection, IP, employment, and regulatory matters.Key responsibilities include:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of client and supplier agreementsAdvising on commercial legal matters and supporting internal teams across multiple jurisdictionsSupporting with RFIs, RFPs, NDAs, and corporate governance queriesAssisting with regulatory issues, including ABPI Code of Practice (or equivalent) and anti-bribery complianceContributing to contract template development and legal process improvementsCollaborating with the wider legal team on ad hoc projectsWhat we’re looking for:Qualified solicitor Strong commercial contracts experience and sound legal judgementPrevious in-house experience preferred (open to those coming straight from private practice too)A proactive, pragmatic and collaborative approachExperience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors is a plus, but not essential
