KS1 Class Teacher

Justteachers are recruiting a KS1 Class Teacher to take responsibility for a Year 2 class on a part-time basis (3 days per week) from Easter 2026, for a fixed term of one year.To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.About the role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team and make a measurable impact on pupil progress during a key assessment year.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 2, in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.Implement and adapt systematic phonics and early reading approaches (e.g., Little Wandle/Read Write Inc. or equivalent) to support progress.Differentiate learning and provide targeted support, including for pupils with SEND and EAL, working alongside the SENCO and support staff.Pre-requisites:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.Recent successful teaching experience in KS1, ideally in Year 2.Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, early reading/phonics, and age-appropriate pedagogy. xjdpvnf Proven ability to use assessment (including statutory teacher assessment processes) to drive progress.If you are interested, please apply now.
