Labourer Construction

The Role As a Labourer at T J Atkin Ltd , you'll play an important role in keeping the site running smoothly. You'll assist and support the site team by helping with general labouring duties, maintaining site tidiness, moving materials, and take part in day-to-day construction tasks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in contributing to quality projects, and wants to be part of a professional and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Carry out general site labouring duties. Keep the site clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Handle and move materials, tools, and equipment safely. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Support in setting up and maintaining site welfare areas and access routes. Follow instructions from the Site Manager or Foreman promptly and accurately. Adhere to all health and safety requirements and wear PPE as required. Report any hazards or unsafe practices immediately. Take pride in maintaining a well-presented and organised site. Skills & Experience Essential: Previous experience working on a construction site. Valid CSCS card . Good awareness of health and safety practices . Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Full UK driving licence and transport to travel to site. Desirable: Additional tickets or training (e.g. manual handling, abrasive wheels, banksman, etc.). Experience supporting trades or groundwork teams. Personal Qualities Hardworking and willing to get stuck in. A team player who communicates well and supports others. Positive attitude and pride in a job done properly.
