Director of Product Innovation

Product Leadership RoleA key leadership position within a multinational corporation.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of product managers across multiple product lines and office locations.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, train and develop a high-performing team of product managers.Culture Development: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and customer-centric thinking.Goal Setting: Set individual goals and KPIs, conduct regular reviews and support career development.Market Research: Lead market research efforts to deeply understand customer needs, industry trends and competitive dynamics.Data Analysis: Drive a data-informed approach to product prioritization and optimization.Product Strategy: Define, execute and communicate the product strategy and plan for specific product areas.Business Planning: Develop business cases, business plans and product roadmaps for those product areas.Partnerships: Maintain relationships with key suppliers, partners and customers.Customer Engagement: Translate customer pain points into clear, actionable product requirements.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy or related technical field.Experience: 8+ years experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or people management role.Skills: Demonstrated success in ideating or identifying and launching successful products. Strong leadership and people development skills. High level of personal initiative.Qualities: Strong analytical skills, organizational and strategic thinking skills. Entrepreneurial spirit and technical curiosity.Abilities: Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
