Job Description Job OverviewTo carry out suitable fire risk assessments in accordance with the relevant legislation on behalf of our clients on a wide variety of sites across Yorkshire.To work efficiently within agreed timescales, managing workload in conjunction with office-based staff.Deliver a good quality comprehensive fire risk assessment suitable for client needs.Main DutiesConducting site-based inspections within a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial and residential within a specified timescale.Carrying our FRA's using an app either on a tablet or phoneRegular communication with the back-office team to co-ordinate assessment data through to report completion.The role will involve extensive travel throughout the UK staying away from home as and when required.Act as a representative of Mitie whilst on client sitesWhat we are looking forYou will need to have a minimum of a NEBOSH Fire Certificate (full) or other recognized fire qualification. It will be necessary to provide evidence in respect to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in undertaking fire risk assessments. A qualification in Health and Safety would be an advantageYou should have a proven track record in producing high quality detailed FRA reports. A full driving license is essential for this roleA full driving license is essential for this roleYou will need a can-do approach and a helpful hands-on attitude, as well as great attention to detailAble to work as a member of a teamAble to work without direct supervisionAble to conduct surveys throughout client sitesAble to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
