This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a growing data function that is undergoing significant internal investment and is integral to strategic decision-making across the business.In this role, youll work with large-scale, complex datasets both quantitative and qualitative applying statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and visualisation techniques to support business reporting, stakeholder engagement, and research projects.Why apply?Shape the future Your insights will influence organisational strategy, thought leadership, and programme delivery.Career development A clear route to progress into BI or research specialisms depending on your strengths and interests.Supportive team Join a collaborative, knowledgeable and values-led team with a strong culture of autonomy and trust.Hybrid flexibility 3 days per week in the York office.What youll be doing:Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting to internal and external stakeholdersProduce high-quality analysis using statistical programming (R or Python)Work with the Secure Research Service and other datasets to evaluate programmes and audience engagementDevelop dashboards and visual reporting tools using Power BI (or similar)Present complex findings in a clear, actionable way to non-technical audiencesCollaborate with colleagues across the organisation to embed evidence-informed decision-makingWhat were looking for:A degree with strong maths/statistics content or 3+ years experience in quantitative analysisProficiency in R or PythonExperience using a data visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Soft skills:Strong communicator able to explain data insights to non-specialist audiencesComfortable working with a high level of autonomyA collaborative team player with a proactive approachPlease note:This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
