Their approach is defined by agility, innovation, and a close connection to digital platforms and communities.The Role This is a standalone Finance Manager position, offering full ownership of the finance function across two creative businesses within the group. You'll be the sole in-house finance professionalresponsible for all aspects of day-to-day financial management and commercial insight.Youll work closely with the Founder and senior leadership team to provide strategic analysis, cash flow planning, and scenario modelling, while also managing core operations such as invoicing, ledger maintenance, and management accounts. Youll act as the primary contact for external accountants and lead financial development as the business scales.Key Success MeasuresTimely, accurate financial reporting to support leadership decisionsStrong cash flow management and debtor control (Robust, audit-ready ledger and reconciliation processesScalable systems and processes embedded across the businessKey ResponsibilitiesPurchase & Sales LedgerMaintain supplier onboarding, PO tracking, and invoice control via Synergist and XeroProcess expenses, subscriptions, and card reconciliationsRaise client invoices and manage debtor communicationsSchedule payment runs and manage supplier queriesP&L and Balance Sheet ManagementPrepare monthly management accounts with variance commentaryMonitor revenue recognition, accruals/deferrals, and project profitabilityMaintain balance sheet reconciliationsLead year-end prep and external accountant liaisonDevelop cash flow forecasts, budgets, and scenario modelsReporting & Strategic InsightDeliver weekly updates on cash flow and revenue performance to leadershipPresent financial insights to inform pricing, investment, and resourcing decisionsDevelop and refine internal dashboards and performance reportingSupport operational efficiency and procurement planningWhat Were Looking ForA qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a standalone finance or SME leadership roleCommercially sharp and confident translating numbers into strategyProficient in Xero, Excel, and ideally familiar with SynergistStrong communicator who engages well with creative and senior stakeholdersHands-on, meticulous, and proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
