As a Grounds Maintenance/Handy Person, you will be responsible for: Maintaining equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to ensure they are safe and in good working condition. General care for lawns, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing Maintenance of flower beds by weeding, planting, and watering. Removal of rubbish and debris from property grounds, keeping it clean and hazard-free Maintenance tasks such as painting, fixing fences, general property repairs tasks apply herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with safety guidelines Seasonal tasks such as snow removal, salting walkways, leaf collection or irrigation system maintenance One of the perks of this role is that you will be working outdoors in all types of weather. You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including commercial properties, residential communities, and parking lots. No two days will ever be the same in this exciting role.
