Project Controller

Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our large, well-established employer based in Yeovil on an ongoing temporary contract. In this role, youll play a key part in keeping our production line running smoothly tracking progress, resolving issues, and coordinating emergent work to ensure schedules stay on track. Youll work closely with operations management, planning, and performance teams to analyse data, support decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement across our processes. What Youll Do Support day-to-day production activities, ensuring all operational tasks are clearly planned, tracked, and delivered on time. Identify and document emergent (unplanned) work, coordinating approvals and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Maintain and update production schedules, highlighting risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights on performance, progress, and resource utilisation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and support business performance goals. Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and ethics. What Were Looking For Strong background in supply chain, production, or operations coordination. Excellent organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Confident using planning tools and data systems (e.g. SAP, Excel, MES, or similar). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
