Job Description We are seeking an experiencedAviation Compliance & Procedures Specialistto join a highly regulated aerospace company on a temporary long term assignment, based in Yeovil. This Regulatory Compliance Engineer role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding ofaircraft operations, regulatory requirements, and audit processes, who can ensure procedures are effective, compliant, and aligned with industry best practice. You'llplay a key role in providingevidence-based assurance, improving processes, and supporting compliance acrossCAMO, technical, production, and maintenance teams.This is a great opportunity to work within ahighly respected aviation environment, to play a key role incompliance, safety, and operational excellence, with an opportunity to influenceprocess improvement and best practice whilst collaborating across multiple technical and operational teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as thesubject matter expertfor procedural and regulatory queriesProvide guidance on applying internal operating systems and resolving conflicting requirementsConductimpact assessmentson changes to procedures and regulatory frameworksLead the development and improvement ofbusiness procedures and work instructionsEnsure procedures reflectaviation regulations and industry best practiceSupport and guideinternal and external auditsCarry outprocedure review audits (First Line of Defence)Identify root causes of non-compliance and implementcorrective actionsTrack compliance metrics and monitor progress of improvement activitiesDeliver clear communication and training to improveprocess adherenceSkills and ExperienceStrong background inaviation / aerospace environments(CAMO, maintenance, or engineering)Proven experience incompliance, procedures, and audit activitiesIn-depth understanding ofaviation regulatory requirements and their applicationExperience writingclear, structured procedures and documentationAbility to lead cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholdersStrongproblem-solving and analytical skillsComfortable working in ahighly regulated, process-driven environmentKnowledge ofcontinuous improvement methodologiesProficient inMicrosoft Officeand relevant internal systemsExperience withaudit management and regulatory inspectionsare desirableFamiliarity withCIETP and operating systems (e.g. LH-OS)are desirableHNC (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplineare desirableIf you have a strong background inaviation compliance, audits, and procedures, and want to play a pivotal role in drivingregulatory excellence, wed love to hear from you.Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Business for this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
