The sustained, robust business performance creates an ideal environment for career growth.Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityAs a Site Agent, you'll be integral to our operational team, contributing to every phase from tendering and design to construction, commissioning, and handover. You'll lead projects that enhance our environment and communities- from improving flood defences, to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature-based solutions that improve biodiversity.We secured our first contract with Severn Trent at the beginning of AMP5 in 2009. Two AMPs later and Severn Trent has grown to become our largest client in terms of turnover.We've laid strong roots in the area, working from offices at Shifnal in the West Midlands, but delivering work across the Severn Trent patch. 420 colleagues are based in the region, in all roles from frontline construction to commercial management, operations to design.Our current AMP7 frameworks have been rolled over into AMP8 (to 2030), securing our place in the region for many years to come.With sites located across the West Midlands, including; Shropshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire.The role of a Site Agent includes:Working collaboratively with the design and commercial teams to enhance delivery efficiency and promote opportunities while managing riskManaging the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the clientInvolvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reportingInforming the client about project progress and addressing any concernsActing as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications.What you'll need:CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTSHNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceUnderstand civil engineering principles and practicesExcellent organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersA valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational regionWhat's in it for you:Alongside our significant training and development investment, bespoke progression plan and support to achieve professional chartership, we offer a wide range of financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits that you can tailor to your needs.To view our full range of benefits, please see the Bentley benefits brochure attached.TPBN1_UKTJ
