Job Description Senior Legal Manager UK Construction & Technical Operations (12Month FTC) Wrexham (OnSite/Hybrid) 12month fixedterm contract, extension possibleA fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Senior Legal Manager to support major construction and technical operations activities at a large UK manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced, highly regulated environment and enjoys partnering closely with crossfunctional teams to enable complex project delivery. About the RoleYoull provide strategic legal advice and handson support for largescale construction projects, fitout activities, and UK technical operations. This includes guiding stakeholders through the full contract lifecycle, managing legal risk, and ensuring compliance across all project phases. Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Support & AdvisoryAdvise on construction and technical operations mattersInterpret and apply key contractual provisionsCommunicate legal risks and options clearly to stakeholdersDrafting & NegotiationDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and construction agreementsWork extensively with JCT and NEC3/NEC4 contractsSupport agreements related to engineering, procurement, equipment, raw materials, and manufacturing servicesProject & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with procurement, engineering, finance, risk, compliance, IP, and external counselParticipate in project and leadership teams to shape commercial and operational strategiesRisk Management & ComplianceIdentify and manage legal risks across project activitiesEnsure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policiesPromote legal awareness and support training initiativesLegal Process & Knowledge ManagementMaintain and improve contract templates and legal processesProvide guidance to internal teams to enhance efficiency and consistency Experience & Skills57+ years PQE with strong UK experience in construction lawProven expertise with JCT and NEC3/NEC4 contractsStrong negotiation and stakeholdermanagement skillsAbility to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlinesClear communicator, proactive mindset, and strong organisational skillsComfortable working independently while aligned with a wider legal teaPlease apply on Linkedin.
