Job DescriptionOpportunity:Workshop ForemanLocation:WorthingSalary:45,000 55,000 per annumWe are proud to be partnering with a well-established national equipment rental business as they expand their operational leadership team in their Worthing depot.About the Role:This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for the day-to-day management of the depot workshop. Youll play a key part in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a broad range of plant and tool equipment, while supervising a team of fitters and yard staff.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all workshop operations including tool and plant servicing, maintenance, repair, and inspection.Supervise and lead workshop fitters and yard teams.Ensure depot KPIs are met consistently and effectively.Coordinate with the transport team to ensure plant availability for upcoming hires.Ensure accurate stock control and conduct regular stock takes.Identify and charge out customer damage from off-hired equipment.Support repairs including electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and petrol systems.Promote a strong health 'safety culture within the depot.Attend off-site breakdowns where required.Manage service paperwork and ensure accurate record keeping.Order parts through the internal purchasing system and coordinate warranty repairs with suppliers.Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance team capabilities.About You:Minimum 5 years' experience working with tools and powered access equipment.Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman position within a workshop environment.Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced depot setting.Full UK driving licence.Whats in it for you?Competitive salary of45,000 55,000 per annumRegular working hours:7am 5pmJoin a respected national business with a strong focus on employee developmentBe part of a team that values expertise, safety, and efficiencyJBRP1_UKTJ
