Location: Flexible within South Region (Sussex, Newbury, Portsmouth, Canterbury, Rochester, Greater London) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) About the Role: We are seeking a committed and driven individual to join our team as a Regional Business Development Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic business development initiatives across the South Region, driving growth and contributing to sustainable outcomes. What Youll Be Doing: Build and maintain long-lasting, profitable relationships with large and high-profile customers across multiple industries. Act as Project Manager for all contract tendering exercises, guiding the process from start to finish. Ensure operational teams are fully briefed on customer requirements during the Bid/No Bid process and commercial decision-making. Lead the financial monitoring and commercial bid sign-off process according to delegation levels. Support the Bid Team to produce submissions with accurate content, stakeholder involvement, and on schedule. Liaise with the legal team to review contractual requirements and manage post-award negotiations. Oversee the integration of new customers during contract implementation prior to handover to Account Managers. What Were Looking For: Essential: Proven bid writing and presentation experience. GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C or above). Waste industry experience or understanding. Previous project management experience. Tender management experience.
