This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role in ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the full production lifecycle.The RoleAs a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining exceptional quality standards at every stage of the production process. You will act independently from production, leading by example, supporting teams with technical knowledge, and ensuring all units meet required specifications prior to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote a strong quality and health 'safety culture across the siteCarry out in-depth quality inspections at all stages of production through to deliveryCheck rebar, cages, reinforcement, and covers against drawings and 3D modelsComplete pre-pour and post-pour inspections, including dimensional checksEnsure adherence to Quality Assurance Requirements (QAR)Raise, distribute, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)Investigate quality issues and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Participate in PVA activities and collective improvement initiativesCarry out non-destructive and destructive testing where requiredAssess remedial works and conduct crack surveys and pull testingGreen tag completed units and complete PDI checks prior to deliveryProduce regular progress and performance reports for managementBuild strong working relationships with Leadership, Production, and Delivery teamsSkills, Knowledge & ExperienceEssential:Proactive approach to health and safetyStrong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levelsAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityDesire to develop skills and support quality capacity across factory areasDesirable:Previous experience in a large or complex manufacturing environmentTrade background with production quality control experienceAbility to read engineering drawings, reinforcement drawings, and schedulesGood IT skills and confidence using modern systems and softwareNumeracy skillsEvidence of continuous professional development or trainingPersonal AttributesStrong work ethic and pride in delivering high-quality workTrustworthy and confident in signing off productsFlexible and adaptable to changing workloads and schedulesTeam player with good people skillsSelf-motivated with strong time management and initiativeWhat's on OfferOpportunity to work with a respected precast manufacturerA key quality role with responsibility and autonomySupportive working environment with scope for development14.90- 19.37 plus holiday pay and overtime pay.
