Additional benefits include a Health Care Plan, social events, and health check-in events.We are also considering candidates who want to transition their skills into this sort of position, maybe from backgrounds including machining, or machine tool fitting etc.The shift is a rotating shift Monday - Friday (6am-2pm) / (2pm to 10pm) weeklyWhy This Role Stands Out:- Competitive salary with premium overtime rates- Modern and supportive working environment- Health care and wellness benefits- Opportunities for career advancement- Engaging social events and team-building activitiesKey Responsibilities:- Service and maintain injection mould tooling to ensure smooth production- Repair tooling following breakdowns- Modify existing tooling as required- Test machinery to ensure repairs and modifications are correctly completed- Collaborate with the manufacturing department to optimise tool performanceSkills, Experience, and Education:Communication:- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and other departments.Knowledge/Expertise:- Experienced in the repair and servicing of plastic injection moulding tools up to 10T- Proficient in bench hand skills, milling, turning, and grinding- Able to read and interpret engineering xjdpvnf drawings- Computer literate with solid attention to detailInnovation:- Ability to identify and implement improvements in tooling processes- Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving technical issuesBusiness Impact:- Ensures minimal downtime in production through effective tool maintenance- Contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing departmentAccountabilities:- Ensuring timely completion of all tooling maintenance and repairs- Leading by example in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
