Technical Customer Services Manager UK & IrelandCompany: Leading Tyre Manufacturer UK basedRead on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.Location: UK (Field-based with national travel)Division: Tyres Technical ServicesContract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 70k to 90k base with fantastic company benefitsAbout the RoleThis is a senior leadership opportunity to lead and shape all Technical Services operations across the UK & Ireland for one of the worlds most respected mobility brands.As Technical Customer Services Manager, you will oversee technical training, warranty management, product performance monitoring, fleet and dealer audits, and high-level engineering support. You will also act as our clients technical spokesperson to government bodies, trade associations, media, and industry stakeholders.This role combines engineering expertise, commercial awareness, regulatory leadership, and strategic influence.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Services LeadershipDeliver and evolve the UK & Ireland Technical Services strategyProvide expert-level support to sales teams, fleets, dealers, and end usersSupport truck sales with product application, SLAs, fleet inspections, and dealer quality processesLead and develop a team of 9 technical professionalsTechnical Training & Tyre AcademyOversee the Tyre Academy training centre (Lutterworth/Rugby)Develop market-leading training programmesEnsure compliance with regulatory and company standardsWarranty & ComplianceLead full UK & Ireland warranty processManage product liability cases in line with:Consumer Rights ActSale of Goods ActDVSA recall proceduresProduce KPI reports and performance analyticsProduct Performance & InnovationLead product performance monitoringDeliver competitive benchmarking insightsProvide field data to R&DSupport digital tyre solutions and fuel analytics innovationIndustry & Government LiaisonAct as primary technical contact for bodies such as:DVSANational HighwaysContribute to regulatory and legislative discussions (TRWP, sustainability, tyre standards)What Were Looking ForEssentialHND (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering10+ years in technical services (tyre or automotive preferred)Deep understanding of tyre manufacturing, xjdpvnf development, and regulationsExperience managing:Warranty processesTechnical auditsTraining programmesTechnical support teamsProven leadership of technical teamsExperience acting as a technical spokespersonLeadership CompetenciesOwnership & accountabilityResults orientationCross-functional collaborationQuality leadershipStrong decision-making 'stakeholder communicationWhy Join?Lead all UK & Ireland technical operations for a global mobility leaderInfluence product performance, innovation and regulatory standardsHigh-visibility role engaging with R&D, sales, marketing, government and mediaShape the future of tyre technology and digital mobility solutions
