Senior Design Manager

We are recruiting for experienced Senior Technical Design Manager for our growing team at Grove Developments which is part of the Arora Group. Experts in the Commercial and Hospitality sectors you will work on a vast portfolio of large-scale projects.This role will be fully office based role at the Arora Group Head Office in Heathrow airport area.You will be fully responsible for the delivery of technical drawing packages working directly with the architectural design team. Your responsibilities will also include implementing the relevant project plans for BIM delivery and ensuring all items of the project are delivered on time. So if you are technically driven, Revit and have a passion for BIM this is the role for you.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork with Lead architect on all design development, responsible for the technological design from concept to completion.Responsible for all technical detailing of the project (demonstrable experience in the delivery of technical drawing packages)Assist Lead architect with all material and construction systems to meet original design intentWriting and collating NBS specification with Lead architectCoordinating with sub consultants with all drawing packagesReview all drawings packages ensuring drawings and documentation carefully coordinated with sub consultants prior to submissionsEnsure all sub consultants review and agree to programme of deliverables.Coordinate design team meetings with the relevant sub consultantsResponsible for meeting with local authorities and expediently processing submissions with any problems alerted to Senior ManagementSkills & ExperiencesMust be eligible to work in the UKRecognised Degree in Architectural TechnologyRegistered with CIATMinimum 5 years’ working experience in an Architectural PracticeFull proficiency using Revit and NavisworksUK experience essential (All RIBA work stages) with in-depth understanding of UK Building Regulations and current BIM Standards.Specialist in RIBA 3-5Experience in large-scale projects is highly advantageousNBS spec writing and experience using NBS createExcellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all team members
