Our capital equipment machinery is supplied to large blue-chip organisations across the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Panel Wireman to join our team in Worcester.The RoleWorking as part of a small, skilled team of two, you will be responsible for the build and wiring of electrical control panels for bespoke industrial automation machinery.This is a hands-on role involving single and three-phase systems, supporting the manufacture of high-value capital equipment.Key Responsibilities:Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematicsWiring control panels to detailed specificationsBuilding and assembling electrical components within panelsWorking with single and three-phase electrical systemsSupporting machine build and integration where requiredEnsuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standardsRequirementsPrevious panel wiring experience within an industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience working on capital equipment or industrial automation machinery preferredAbility to confidently read electrical schematics and technical drawingsRelevant electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)Experience with EPLAN (desirable but not essential)Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am 12:00pmSalary & Benefits30,000 32,000 salary (dependent on experience)25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension (5% employer / 3% employee)Death in Service benefitPerformance Related Pay (Christmas bonus)Overtime available (approx. 8 hours per week, optional)Career ProgressionThis role offers genuine progression opportunities, with the potential to move into electrical design work in the future for the right individual.If you're an experienced Panel Wireman looking to join a specialist automation OEM with strong progression opportunities and a supportive team environment, wed love to hear from you.
