Process Engineer

Location: Worcester Employment Type: Full time permanent Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Are you a Process or Production engineer with a background in electronics manufacturing? Do you have a solid understanding of electronic components and a passion for driving process excellence? If so, wed love to hear from you. We're seeking a proactive and technically minded Process Engineer to support and optimise the process stages of PCB production. This is a hands on role focused on process stability, continuous improvement, and delivering high quality products to customer specifications. What you'll be doing as a Process Engineer: Develop, optimise, and maintain processes within stages of PCB manufacturing. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) with setup, trials, and validation Lead improvement projects focused on yield, quality, cost reduction, and sustainability Implement lean manufacturing techniques including Kaizen, Six Sigma, and SPC Troubleshoot process issues and minimise downtime Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive performance Review customer complaints and returns, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions What you'll bring as a Process Engineer in this role: Experience as a Process or Production Engineer in the electronics industry Strong understanding of electronic components and PCB build process Analytical mindset with problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Familiarity with lean manufacturing, SPC, and process control techniques What benefits you'll receive as a Process Engineer in this role: 23 days holiday 8 bank holidays Monthly performance related bonus Life assurance 2x annual salary Training & development opportunities available You don't need direct experience in this exact role but you do need to understand electronic components and be ready to lead improvements, troubleshoot issues, and support production with technical expertise in a fast-paced electronics environment.
