Mechanical Design Engineer Salary 35-40k Based Worcester, Worcestershire A Mechanical Design Engineer is required for a busy engineering company based in Worcester. The company design and manufacture specialist engineering equipment used predominantly within the oil & gas sector. You will take engineering ownership of products from conception through to delivery and take responsibility for all engineering outputs associated with projects and ensure technical compliance. Candidates will have proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, ideally with experience of packaged engineering solutions. Your experience may include pumps, motors, bearings, hydraulics, impellers etc. Your experience will include rotating part machinery with knowledge of hydraulics and electro mechanical control systems. 3D CAD skills are required with Solidedge preferred. You will also have experience on manufacturing projects which incorporate heavy equipment. You will be a dynamic and driven engineer with a natural ability to drive projects through to a successful conclusion. Candidates should be Degree qualified.
