With many years of industry experience, the company specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire and security systems, supporting clients across the West Midlands and throughout the UK.Unlike many roles in this sector, this position offers the security of a permanent, employed contract ideal for someone who is well established in their trade and looking to move away from the uncertainty of subcontract or self-employed work. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including a company vehicle, providing both flexibility and long-term security.If you are looking for consistency, support, and a role where your experience is genuinely valued, this could be the right next step.What we need from you:Minimum 5+ years of experience in firestopping or passive fire protection worksIdeally you will live in the West MidlandsProven background in the passive fire protection industry with demonstrated technical competenceStrong knowledge of fire-rated systems, approved materials, and installation methodsAbility to read and follow technical instructions, method statements, and safety proceduresBasic understanding of construction drawings and specificationsHigh level of attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanshipSolid understanding of fire safety principles and regulatory complianceAbility to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a teamStrong communication and coordination skills when working with site teams and other tradesProactive, solution-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a professional teamDemonstrated commitment to health, safety, and site compliance standardsHold a current UK Driving LicenceWhat this role involves:Install fire-stopping systems including batts and mastic, fire-rated sealants, cavity barriers, and fire-resistant compoundsSeal service penetrations and construction joints in fire-rated walls and floors in full compliance with fire safety regulations and approved standardsCarry out site surveys and inspections to identify areas requiring fire-stopping works and ensure complianceProvide training, supervision, and guidance to other fire-stopping operatives if requiredDemonstrate a strong understanding of Rockwool standard detail guides and approved fire-stopping systems.Salary: Negotiable, depending on your level of experience.Hours: Working full time hours, 8 hours a day on site, plus driving time.Benefits:Company vehicle provided and fuel expenses coveredAnnual tool allowance: 200.00Uniform provided & footwear allowanceHoliday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks per year, inclusive of public/bank holidaysPension schemeAccommodation & meal allowance: Provided when requiredCareer progression and training opportunities: NVQ 3, Fire Doors, FIRASOvertime/out of hours pay: Saturdays paid at 1.5x and Sundays at 2x ( if required)Company mobile phoneAdditional days annual leave after first full year, max of 5After probation; Private healthcare: AXA (additional fee), discounted gym membership, dentist & optician cashback and 25 a year for an eye testPlease apply now!JBRP1_UKTJ
