We create better places where people and planet prosper.We wish to recruit a Customer Services Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Customer Services team based in our West Midlands Region. The successful candidate will have a clean driving license, be a time served trades-person who is able to demonstrate they are a team player. They will possess a keen work ethic, excellent communication skills, desire and drive to succeed and empathy and sympathy in equal measures when dealing with our customers and be smart, punctual, honest and reliable.The main responsibilities of this role:To ensure the customer service vehicle is racked out appropriately and kept clean and tidy at all times. Vehicle to be checked weekly for compliance with the Health & Safety statutes of the business and in relation to common road law.Always be of smart appearance and ensure you have the relevant footwear, and protection to the same, appropriate to the task you are assigned to prior to entering and working in occupied properties. The company provides work clothing including PPE and it is your responsibility to ensure that its worn at all times and remains in good condition for use.To carry ID at all times and show upon requestTo liaise directly with the Central Office Hub to provide status reports of on-going and completed tasks for the efficient managing of JDETo obtain signed satisfaction/completion notifications from our customers following completion of remedial tasks, where possible.To arrive promptly at the place of work and advise your Line Manager of any specific problems that may impact on this, prior to the time of your arrival.To carry out your work diligently & safely in line with the company SH&E Management System, available on our Intranet site Mpower and be available for work to meet the business needYou will also have a sound understanding of NHBC Technical Standards & Guidelines along with a sound decision making process and an ability to use your own initiative to problem solve.
