Head of Wholesale MGA, Aon Underwriting Managers (AUM)Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.We are looking for an expert business leader for an established MGA with significant growth potential.The Wholesale MGA business remit is to design and complete a strategy to provide product and distribution solutions for Aon's clients using Aon's wholesale distribution channels, principally through London's Global Broking Centre. The successful candidate will be someone with a growth mindset, experience in crafting and delivering sustainably profitable portfolios to carrier and capital partners and has a strong digital ambition for the market place. AUM's primary distribution channels are Aon's wholesale and global retail broking networks with options to use third party networks and white-label branding where appropriate to do so. Operating within the UK regulated environment, AUM partners with Lloyd's and Company Market capital providers with the aim of underwriting sustainably profitable portfolios for carrier partners whilst delivering best in class solutions for clients and brokers.What the day will look likeAs a member of the AUM Executive Leadership team there are responsibilities across the business to ensure the best outcomes for our stakeholders. Carrier management, broker engagement, product design, business case review, supporting colleague development; this is a senior management role with broad influence. The commercial focus of the role is as the leader for Wholesale MGA business which benefits from some established products already and with phenomenal growth potential to respond to client requirements and technological change. Key stakeholders will be Aon's Global Broking Centre leaders, Lloyds and Company markets in London and an understanding of how the US and EMEA market operates. The role will be supported by a leadership team, and underwriting, claims, exposure management and actuarial capabilities.
