Job DescriptionScroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityBelcan is recruiting an experienced Site Safety Supervisor for an initial 2 month contract Inside IR35, to support a control system replacement project based at Wooler, Northumberland. You'll lead on-site safety, ensure compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations, and maintain a strong safety culture.Key DutiesDeliver daily safety leadership, briefings, and toolbox talks.Conduct inspections, audits, and behavioural observations.Ensure compliance with RAMS, PTW, CDM, and high-risk activity controls.Lead incident response, investigations, and reporting.Maintain accurate site safety and PTW documentation.Essential RequirementsNEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).Proven site safety experience in construction/industrial/engineering environments.CSCS card.Contractor supervision experience.First Aid at Work.Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation -CDM 2015, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974COSHH, LOLER, PUWERWorking at Height RegulationsDesirableSSSTS/SMSTSTemporary Works awarenessFire Marshal trainingExperience in COMAH, utilities, energy, or CNI environmentsApply now via the link!!Belcan, a Cognizant company, is a global force in technical services and engineering consultancy.
