St Audrys Golf Club St Audrys Golf Club is a 9-hole course situated in a picturesque parkland setting close to Woodbridge in Suffolk. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an assistant green keeper.Additional training can be provided, making this a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and with a genuine interest in contributing to the quality and presentation of the course. The Role Position: Assistant Green Keeper at St Audrys Golf Club. Hours: Full time 37.5 hour week with flexible hours and with some weekend work. Remuneration: circa 26K per annum dependent on experience. Benefits: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Regulatory Pension Scheme Professional development opportunities PPE clothing provided by the Club Key Responsibilities Assisting the head green keeper with the daily maintenance of the golf course General groundskeeping tasks include mowing, watering, greens and bunker maintenance. Where appropriate, able to operate hand and power tools and relevant mechanical equipment. Requirements/ Person Specification Essential: Enjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical fitness commensurate with the nature of the role. Reliable, punctual and with the ability to work alone. Attention to detail, taking pride in their work. Good communication skills, able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility. Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and early mornings as required. Desirable: Previous experience in green keeping an advantage. Alternatively, experience of groundskeeping, landscaping or a similar role. Equipment knowledge: Familiarity with the safe use and basic maintenance of greens keeping tools and machinery (training available) Basic plant knowledge: An understanding of turf, plants and landscaping techniques.
