CNC ProgrammerLocation: WolverhamptonSalary: 40,000 - 42,000Hours: 38 hours based on double day shiftOverview:We're working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering business that is actively seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for their milling machines. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC setter programmer or machinst to join a professional team within a modern, clean, and well-run facility.Key Responsibilities of CNC programmer:Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.Working with FANUC, Siemens, and G-code control systems.Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.Setting tools, understanding cutting speeds and feeds, and carrying out boring, drilling, and threading operations.Ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency while working to tight tolerances.Confident use of inspection and measurement equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometres, etcMaintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.Experience required for CNC programmer:A minimum of 1 year of experience in CNC programming.Solid background in CNC milling operations.Preferably experience with CAD/CAM systems.Someone who is highly motivated, communicates well, and works effectively as part of a team.A proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.A willingness to learn and continuously improveContract details for CNC programmer:Double Day shift -Monday to Thursday 0600 - 1400 / 1400 - 2200Early finish Friday - 1200 / 1800Overtime premium over 38 hours25 days annual leaveFree parkingPensionWhat next?.
