Applications from all levels of experience welcome offering the chance to develop, progress, and build a long-term career with a respected organisation.What we need from you:Experience in commercial landscaping preferred, or the construction industryHold a relevant professional, technical, or management qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) and/or has relevant experience in a similar roleStrong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex data to inform decisionsProficient in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reportingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and suppliersStrong negotiation skills with the ability to balance cost and quality effectivelyCapable of working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment supporting the motivation of the estimating teamHigh level of integrity, attention to detail, and organisational abilityStrong client relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term partnershipsAbility to identify and pursue business development opportunities with existing and new clientsWhat the role involves:Prepare, issue, and track all commercial quotes with pre-work assistance from the Estimating AdministratorEnsure that all commercial bids are of high quality, accurate, and aligned with the companys objectivesWork collaboratively with the Procurement Lead to maintain a high-quality supply chain, supporting both margin and project timelinesMonitor and review tender progress, providing regular updates and corrective actions as neededSupport Contracts Managers by acting as a second pair of eyes to ensure jobs are delivered to budgetConduct regular site audits to assess the quality of work, cost control, and alignment with the project budgetContribute to the continuous improvement of the tendering and estimating processBuild and sustain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat businessIdentify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling new services to existing clientsAttend industry networking events to create business development opportunities and expand the companys presence in the marketProactively engage in identifying new business leads and collaborate with the Commercial Director to convert them into profitable contractsIntroduce colleagues or specialists from the team to clients when their expertise can benefit the project or lead to further business opportunities.Salary: Competitive, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
