Job DescriptionGraduate Chemist looking to pivot into a commercial role, or someone working in customer service in a chemical manufacturer looking to step up to an account management role required in the West Midlands. Great opportunity to kick-start a career in technical sales and manage several key accounts for a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer.Title: Junior Account Manager Speciality ChemicalsLocation: WolverhamptonSalary: 35k - 45k (dependent upon experience) + benefitsTerm: PermanentSRG is exclusively partnered with a well-respected, global company who manufacture and supply a huge range of speciality chemicals and additives to a wide range of industries including coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE).With a genuine drive for innovation, they are now looking for a Chemistry graduate or a Customer Service Representative from a chemical manufacturer to join them as a Junior Account Manager and manage several accounts. This is an amazing opportunity for a Chemistry graduate looking to utilise their degree outside the lab and pivot into a customer-facing, commercial role.Benefits: Leading speciality chemical manufacturer with a strong focus on innovation and a dynamic, international commercial team where you can really make a difference. 36.25 working hours per week, Monday Friday with flexibility on start/finish times. 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, pension scheme and company bonus. Role / Description Managing several accounts across a range of CASE customersOrganising shipping and tracking logistics of customer ordersBeing a key point of contact for multiple external stakeholders including regulatory, supply chain and logistics amongst othersBeing a key point of contact internally for any account queries including product specifications, MSDS, shipping documentation etcUnderstanding customer purchasing needs to accurately forecastUpdating customer pricing on a quarterly basisVery occasional international travel to customer sites and conferencesKeeping abreast of product development & trends in specific industry and project areas.RequirementsRecent graduate in Chemistry, Polymer Science or a closely related subjectOr several years experience in a Customer Service role in a chemical manufacturer looking to take a step up to account managementWilling and able to be on site in Wolverhampton 3 days a weekA proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional customer serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFluent in English, both written and verbal fluency in other European languages would be highly desirable but not essential.If you would like to apply for this position, please use the link provided.
