CMM Operator and Quality Inspector

A great opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company as a CMM Operator and Quality Inspector. The advertised rates are PAYE hourly values. Weekly pay. Position summary: The role is full time position working within the manufacturing team. The applicant must be a good team player and have excellent time management skills to enable them to manage their own workload within a high demand environment. Flexibility is essential to meet customer demands. Responsibilities: Key Skills: Loading CMM with manufactured parts Running CMM Prepping units for inspection End of line inspection of product Good mobility due to physical demands of the job Be able to use computer system, word excel and Carrier websites Must be an organised and able to work under pressure Must be able to manage changing priorities Be a team player but also able to work on own initiative Good attention to detail, understand the need to check and over check work Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers and transport carriers Must be flexible and dependable and prepared to work shifts as required Operators will be expected to work overtime at short notice to meet customer demand and to provide cover for Friday afternoons. Operators may be expected to move between departments within same shift. Operators will be expected to work shifts when required (am/pm). Any other duties as required Requirements: Education No formal qualification required but would expect an excellent level of English & Maths. Industry Experience Previous experience of the Logistics process would be advantageous. Full time. Hours Initially: Monday to Thursday: 7:45 am 4:30 pm, Friday: 7:30am 13:00 pm however the role will most likely move onto a split rotating shift of earlies and lates, so having access to transport which can get you to the site for a 6am start is critical.
