Senior Solicitor (HYBRID) needed in Wolverhampton, 26.32ph PAYE - Reference: 7200 Provision of legal advice in respect of children and young people and education services Undertaking advocacy in all tiers of the Family Court and High Court to include initial hearings, CMHS, FCMH, IRHs, directions hearings and Final Hearings Responsible for and progressing own caseload of public child care matters and PLO matters Drafting court applications and pleadings Preparing and reviewing documents, statements and orders for the purpose of court proceedings Liaising with 3rd party agencies to obtain evidence where necessary Filing and serving documents Undertaking legal research Instructing Counsel, drafting briefs and negotiating fees. Active involvement in client care and business development Able to attend the office twice a week and attend hearings in person Length of contract will be 3 months, with the view to be extended.
