Junior Graphic Designer

We’re excited to announce that we are looking for a junior graphic designer to join our creative team here at Ellis Digital.We are looking for a confident graphic designer that is happy to work independently as well as part of the team and will thrive in a small but close-knit team who are ready to help with all creative work that may come our way.Essential Requirements• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop• Experience working with Figma• Collaborating with our Senior Designer and assisting with projects and client deadlines• Motivated and hardworking individual with strong communication skills• A clear passion for all things design and creative• Solid understanding of design principles, with an ability to accept instruction• Enthusiasm and pride in your work with strong attention to detail• Ability to work under pressure when required and deliver to client deadlines• Keeps up with the latest design trends and leading technology• A good portfolio of design work• Experience managing workload and prioritising tight deadlines• Experience operating on MacOS and Dropbox systems• Graphic Design University DegreeWhat you will be doing.• Producing compelling designs for social media accounts and email campaigns.• Working with our other designer to create wireframe website designs for clients.• Helping to create brand identities and undertaking branding refreshes.• Photo retouching and manipulation, changing backgrounds etc.• Creating assets such as logos, marketing materials etc.• Working within the team to assist the social media department with creative ideas & producing socialmedia assets.• Developing the Ellis Digital brand and creating assets where required.• Liaising within the team to ensure all client deadlines are met.Job details• Contract: Full-time• Location: Guildford, Surrey UK• Salary dependent on experienceThe benefits• Hybrid working available• Free team lunch every Friday• Idyllic office location a short drive from Guildford town centre• Your birthday off• Pension scheme• Regular team building social events & days out (Including trips to Soho House and Farmhouse)• Free refreshments & snacks provided in the office• The freedom to be as creative as possible!About the companyWe are a small digital marketing and creative agency based just outside of Guildford, Surrey in a 400-year-old barn conversion.
