Senior Paraplanner

Profectus Fintech are recruiting for a Senior Paraplanner to join a well-established, fast-growing, and highly respected Independent Financial Adviser firm based in Woking. You will work closely with a Chartered Financial Adviser, supporting a wide range of HNW and technically complex financial planning cases. This role requires a proven background in Paraplanning within an IFA or Wealth Management environment, along with strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning. You'll bring a professional approach, exceptional attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical and analytical support to the Chartered Adviser. Responsibilities Analyse client information from fact finds, existing records, and meeting notes Conduct advanced financial analysis including cashflow modelling, pension and investment research, and IHT planning Work closely with the Chartered Adviser to prepare for client meetings and reviews Analyse clients' existing portfolios and provide supporting technical insight Research products and services and prepare well-reasoned recommendations Produce detailed suitability reports, disclosures, and illustrations across a range of advice areas including investments, transfers, drawdown, IHT, and protection Attend client meetings alongside the adviser when required Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient business processing and submission Keep up to date with legislation, regulatory expectations, and industry best practice Maintain strong relationships with product and service providers Contribute actively to the in-house Investment Committee Requirements Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum) At least 4 years' experience as a Paraplanner Competent with Intelliflo (or similar back-office systems), wrap platforms, FE Analytics, cashflow planning tools, and MS Office Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, tax planning, protection, trusts, and IHT Excellent written and verbal communication skills If you feel you could be suitable, please apply for immediate consideration.
