This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage daily warehouse activities while maintaining high standards of performance and safety.DutiesAct as the senior staff member on the shop floor, understanding customer requirements and driving business improvements. Assist managers and supervisors in their roles and help train, develop, and motivate staff. Ensure all staff operate within current legislation and maintain a safe working environment. Produce regular reports and statistics on operational performance. Collaborate with Contract Managers to ensure health and safety management best practices are applied. Monitor and manage staff productivity, accuracy, and performance, taking action as required. Support stock management and ensure that operational activities, including intake, picking, packing, and dispatch, are conducted accurately and timely. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance operational efficiency. Support personal development across contracts within the framework of job descriptions and competency skills matrix. Cover for the Contract Manager during specified periods, including holidays and sickness....
