OverviewM4 Recruitment are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our clients established service team. The role involves supporting a wide customer base with the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of compressed air equipment, including electrical industrial compressed air systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, varied field-based position.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out service, maintenance, repair, and installation of compressed air equipment and electrical industrial compressed air products.Manage all allocated work efficiently and professionally, ensuring a positive representation of the company at all times.Plan and manage your daily workload effectively, maintaining clear communication with customers.Work flexibly across a variety of tasks to support the Service Department and maximise operational efficiency.Work independently with minimal supervision, and participate in training for both new and existing products as required.Follow all Health & Safety policies and comply with customer site rules when carrying out work on-site.Take responsibility for all company-issued equipment, including tools, uniform, parts, and service vehicle, in line with company policies.Ensure all service reports, time sheets, and job-related documentation are completed accurately and submitted without delay.Participate in the emergency call-out rota as required.Wear clean, company-issued clothing/overalls during working hours.Adhere to company procedures, Quality Standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Carry out additional duties as required to support business needs and uphold high standards of service.RequirementsFormal technical training via apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.Minimum of two years practical experience working with little or no direct supervision.Full UK driving licence is essential.Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a flexible approach to work.Excellent communication and customer-facing mitment to Health & Safety and high-quality service standards.TPBN1_UKTJ
