HGV 7.5 TONNE DRIVER Minworth, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Minworth, West Midlands . Shifts Monday to Friday Start times: 7:00am Rates of Pay 14.25 per hour Basic rate Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Carrying out home and retail deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required) Operating and driving 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured Adhering to UK road traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills To be successful as a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category C1 Licence Minimum 12 months' experience driving C1 vehicles Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) Good spoken and written English Strong punctuality and time-keeping skills Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Driver's assessment must be completed prior to starting Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
