Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Food Manufacturing Wirral 57,800 12 hour days & nights - rotates to give two long weekends in every four weeks Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their production facility in The Wirral . Our client is looking for driven and passionate engineers, with a pro-active mind-set and a desire to drive improvements. In addition are tangible opportunities to develop into a supervisory role. Additional technical training tailored to develop skills and career progression within the business Enhanced company sick pay and pension As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer your key responsibilities include: Maintain high standards of Health & Safety , Food Safety , and GMP compliance Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance support across all production areas Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime Highlight areas for performance improvement and reliability across the site Involved in continuous improvement project work What You'll Bring: Level 3 apprentice trained or equivalent (electrical or mechanical) Strong usability to multi skill Experienced in a maintenance role within automated manufacturing with food / FMCG being advantageous but not essential Strong technical skills and familiarity with CMMS systems and MS Office tools Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving Passion, drive and a 'can do' attitude Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills Apply TODAY to express an interest.
