Multi Skilled Technician (Electrically Biased Preferred)Cheshire £49,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits Join a Leading Heavy Industry Organisation in the NorthwestWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Technician with a strong electrical bias to support the operations of a major industrial facility in the Winsford area.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established, forward-thinking business that plays a vital role in the UK's infrastructure. You will be working on a large-scale, safety-critical site that demands high levels of technical ability, teamwork, and reliability. The RoleAs part of the engineering team responsible for surface and shaft-based facilities, your role will be to ensure legal compliance, equipment reliability, and continuous plant operation through effective maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and statutory checksDiagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systemsCarry out installations and modifications to plant equipmentWork cross-functionally (including rigging, welding, and burning tasks)Support Continuous Improvement (CIP) initiativesEnsure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures What We're Looking For: Recognised apprenticeship or time-served background in multi-skilled engineeringStrong experience in electrical and mechanical maintenancePrevious work in a heavy industrial, mining, or similar environmentCompetence in: Electrical fault findingWelding, rigging, and burningBasic instrumentationIT & communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a busy, safety-led environment Benefits Include: 26 days holiday plus bank holidaysOutstanding pension scheme (up to 20% combined contributions)Annual health screening & medical supportPrivate healthcare & discounted gym membershipCycle to Work and Tech purchase schemesEmployee assistance programmeLife assuranceJBRP1_UKTJ
