Job DescriptionAre you a detail-driven operations specialist with a passion for finance, data, and systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting a dynamic and purpose-led team? This is a rare opportunity to take on a pivotal role as Finance Operations Manager (Finance & Database) within a respected educational environment.The RoleWorking closely with the Director of Development, youll be at the heart of the organisations operational success. Your primary focus will be managing the donor database (Toucan Tech), overseeing financial operations related to income and expenditure, and enabling the wider team to focus on external engagement.You will lead on:Database integrity and management (25,000+ records)Donation processing, acknowledgement, and reconciliationFinancial reporting and coordination with internal departments and international affiliatesCompliance with data protection, finance, and fundraising regulationsOffice and systems managementHigh-level support for major donor cultivation and reportingKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain a secure, accurate, and up-to-date CRMGenerate donor reports, mailing lists, and event dataProcess Gift Aid claims and manage donation platforms (e.g., Stripe, GoCardless)Provide data analysis and insight to support fundraising campaigns and Giving DaysAssist in donor research and pipeline developmentDraft and review internal policies and proceduresLiaise with third-party providers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellenceAbout YouYou are organised, collaborative, and confident in managing data and finance processes.
