Job Description Senior Quantity SurveyorResidential Groundworks & Civil EngineeringNear Bournemouth Salary - 65,000 to 85,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension ???????Blaymires Recruitment is working with a highly respected civil engineering and residential groundworks contractor based near Bournemouth who is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business. This contractor has over 40 years experience delivering high-quality residential groundworks and infrastructure schemes for leading national and regional housebuilders across Dorset and the surrounding counties. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple residential groundworks projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Contracts and Operational teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Include:Full commercial management of residential groundworks projectsPreparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and forecastsValuations, variations, and final accountsSubcontractor procurement, payments, and account managementIdentifying and managing commercial risk and opportunityWorking collaboratively with site and senior management teamsSupporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where requiredAbout You You will ideally have:A minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworksStrong technical knowledge of groundworks packages, including drainage, roads, and infrastructureExperience working for a groundworks or civil engineering contractorA commercially astute and proactive mindsetStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyA relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management is advantageous but not essential.Whats on OfferSalary 65,000 to 85,000 - Depending on experienceCar allowance Pension and benefits packageLong-term career progression within a stable and growing contractorSupportive and experienced senior management teamFor a confidential discussion or further information, please contact:Steve Blaymires Blaymires RecruitmentMob: 07498 987 851JBRP1_UKTJ
