As a trusted Tier 1 supplier to a major global aerospace organisation, the company specialises in high-precision CNC Machining of complex components for aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear and water purification sectors.With continued investment in advanced CNC lathes and mill-turn technology, the business offers a stable workload, clean working environment and a strong quality-led culture where skilled CNC Machinists are valued.Role OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist to join the late-shift team, programming, setting and operating modern CNC lathes with live tooling.The role focuses on CNC Turning of small-to-medium batch components to fine tolerances, working with challenging materials and complex engineering drawings. Experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes is essential, with CMZ MillTurn experience highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set and operate CNC lathes with live toolingCarry out high-precision CNC Turning operations to tight tolerancesMachine materials including aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel and bronzeProduce batch sizes typically ranging from 5 to 100 componentsRead and interpret engineering drawings accuratelyMaintain high standards of quality and consistency throughout productionCommunicate effectively with fellow CNC Machinists to support workflow and efficiencyCandidate ProfileProven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC MachinistStrong background in CNC Machining and CNC TurningConfident programming, setting and operating CNC lathesFanuc control experience essentialCMZ MillTurn experience desirableCAD/CAM knowledge advantageous but not essentialAble to work independently on a late shiftQuality-focused with excellent attention to detailHours of WorkMonday to Thursday: 16:00 02:00Up to 20.00 per hour (DOE)25% late shift premiumOvertime paid at x1.5Interested?If youre an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist who enjoys high-precision CNC Machining and working with modern CNC lathes in a stable, well-respected business, this is a fantastic late-shift opportunity with strong earning potential.Apply now or get in touch to find out more.JBRP1_UKTJ
