With regret, our clients do not offer sponsorship Location: Wimborne, Dorset Days & Hours: 24 hours per week, which includes admin time. Monday-Thursday 7am-9am & 3pm-7pm term time only. In the school holidays the days will change to 3 full days a week, a maximum of 24 hours and these will be agreed with the parents on a term-by-term basis. Start Date: ASAP (subject to satisfactory employment checks) We are seeking a flexible, patient and caring SEN Nanny to support Sarah and her brother, Christopher. Sarah is 10 and Christopher is 9. They live at home with their parents and all of the family love football! Sarah also enjoys swimming and playing on her I-pad. This role is primarily focused on Sarah, who is managed by ILS Case Management, with additional support being provided to Christopher, under the direction of his parents. Your role will be to support both children with school, home and personal activities as follows: Sarah Sarah has Cerebral Palsy with right side hemiplegia, Epilepsy and cognitive difficulties. Your role would be t o support, encourage and assist with all daily activities and personal care. To chaperone and assist in a range of recreational, therapeutic and academic activities. Preparing and cooking meals/snacks and encouraging Sarah to help. Closely monitoring due to a recent diagnosis of Epilepsy and episodes are not always easy detectable. Support Sarahs personal development by encouraging her confidence, independence, and enjoyment of life, helping her grow and thrive in a fun, empowering environment. Working with her multi-disciplinary care team and implement therapy programmes. Completing care notes at the end of each shift and forwarding to the Case Manager. Christopher Christopher has ADHD, Autism and Tourette's syndrome and can be quite a complex neurodiverse young man. You will be taking guidance and direction from the parents and feeding back at the end of the day.
