A reputable Aerospace organisation are urgently seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team in Wimborne on an initial 6 month contract.This role requires someone with a solid background in aerospace or defence procurement, particularly with Export Control/ITAR awareness.Role: BuyerDuration: 6 monthsLocation: WimborneWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days onsiteThe successful candidate will support the supply chain function in Wimborne by managing purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned categories and componentsRaise and manage purchase orders, RFQs, and supplier schedulesEnsure compliance with ITAR, Export Control, and company quality proceduresLiaise with suppliers to monitor performance, lead times, and resolve any supply issuesKey Requirements:Proven experience within aerospace and defence environmentsStrong understanding of ITAR/Export Control regulationsExperience working with ERP systemsStrong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skillsIf youre an experienced Buyer with a strong understanding of ITAR/Export Control regulations and you're ready for your next contract role Apply Now!
