M&E Project Manager

Job Description Project Manager Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)Were looking for an experienced M&E Project Manager to deliver a range of mechanical and electrical building services projects across public sector, commercial, and large residential environments.Youll be managing projects typically valued between 25,000 and 1 million, taking ownership from early design coordination through to delivery, commissioning, and final handover.This role suits someone technically strong, organised, and confident working across multiple live projects in occupied environments.What youll be doing:Full lifecycle delivery of M&E projects (pre-construction through to handover)Managing programmes, budgets, forecasting, and cost controlProcuring and coordinating mechanical & electrical contractors and suppliersOverseeing design coordination and technical complianceRunning site meetings and managing stakeholders across live environmentsEnsuring compliance with Building Regs, CDM, and H&S legislationManaging commissioning, testing, snagging, and defects resolutionHandling variations, valuations, and final accountsProducing progress, cost, and risk reportingWorking across retrofit, refurbishment, and decarbonisation projectsTypical project scope includes:Heating systems, plantroom upgrades, LTHW & DHW systemsAir source heat pumps and hybrid systemsVentilation and air-conditioning systemsElectrical upgrades (power, lighting, controls, containment)Solar PV, battery storage, and other renewablesBMS systems and controls integrationRetrofit works in occupied buildingsWhat youll need:Proven experience delivering M&E building services projectsStrong track record managing projects in the 25k1m rangeBackground across public sector, commercial, or residential schemesSolid technical understanding of M&E systemsExperience working in live / occupied environmentsKnowledge of UK Building Regs, CDM, and H&S complianceStrong commercial awareness (costs, variations, final accounts)Ability to manage multiple projects at onceFull UK driving licenceDesirable:Building Services / M&E contracting backgroundExposure to low-carbon / renewable technologiesProject management qualifications (APM / PRINCE2 / PMP)Package includes:50,000 65,000 total package (DOE)Up to 28 days holiday + bank holidaysEmployer pension contribution (6%+)Hybrid working (2 days WFH / 3 office)Flexible start/finish timesPrivate medical coverEV scheme, cycle to work, holiday buy/sellTraining & development supportIf this sounds like the right next step, apply with your CV.
