Recruitment Officer (In-house) Location: Willand, Devon Salary: 33,000 to 37,500 Competitive Package Benefits Progression Training & Qualifications Working Hours - Full-time, onsite role requiring regular interaction with managers and teams across the site About the Company This role is based at a large food production facility in Willand, Devon, which supplies high-quality poultry products to major retailers and food service providers. The business operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values innovation and continuous improvement. About the Role The Recruitment Officer will play a vital role in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent across the site. This includes managing end-to-end recruitment processes, participating in local events, and continuously enhancing recruitment strategies to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with managers to assess staffing requirements and develop cost-effective recruitment plans Lead local recruitment efforts, especially in surrounding towns and areas Represent the company at job fairs and other recruitment events Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate communication, and onboarding Build and maintain relationships with job centres and other external partners Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives About You This role suits a proactive, personable recruiter with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with people.
