Job Description English & Maths Tutor Up to 28,000 Wigan Full-time, PermanentThe Role: We are recruiting for an English & Maths Tutor to deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills and GCSE lessons. This role involves supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. If you are a passionate educator with strong classroom skills, wed love to hear from you.Duties:Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners needs.Assess progress and provide personalised feedback to support achievement.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Support learners with additional needs and barriers to learning.Track learner progress and implement interventions when needed.Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.Required Skills:Teaching qualifications and experience in Functional Skills and GCSE English & Maths - EssentialAbility to engage and motivate learners, including those who are disengaged.Strong organisational and classroom management skills.Experience working in challenging learning environments.Commitment to professional development and teamwork.Flexibility to work across different locations.
