Hours: Monday to Friday, from 6 am 10-hour day shifts Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for Multi Skilled Operatives on behalf of our client based at their transfer station in Widnes . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operatives with the right certifications to join a well-established and growing organisation, with career progression and permanent roles available for the right candidates. Role Overview: As a Multi Skilled Operative, your role is to ensure the safe transfer and movement of both loose and baled waste materials using 360 Grab rehandlers and Shovel Loaders. The work is physical, fast-paced, and safety-critical. You'll work closely with other team members, maintaining constant radio communication. Key Responsibilities: Operate 360 Grab and/or Shovel Loader machinery Safely load, move, and handle waste materials Maintain a clean and safe working environment Comply with all health & safety procedures Work effectively as part of a team in a busy site Requirements: In-date 360 Grab license AND/OR in-date Shovel Loader license Good level of spoken and written English Able to work on your feet for extended periods Previous waste industry experience desirable, but not essential (full training provided) Benefits: 14.40 per hour, weekly pay Opportunities for overtime Temp-to-perm route for the right candidate Access to canteen facilities Training on other mobile plants and career development available Interested: Apply now TPBN1_UKTJ
