We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager for our home in Widnes. The RoleOur Widnes service is a fully detached three-bed home located just 10 minutes from the town centre, surrounded by parks, green spaces and scenic walking routes. The home offers a calm, friendly environment where adults can relax, feel safe and enjoy a balance of routine and independence.The individuals we support are active, outdoors-focused individuals who enjoy swimming, walking, hiking, including trips to Wales, shopping and getting involved in their community. Some also have additional health needs, such as epilepsy, so staff play an important role in providing consistent, bespoke support, promoting independence, and helping individuals stay engaged in the activities they love.As the Registered Manager, you will have full management responsibility for the smooth running of this 3-bedroom home in Widnes. You will lead a team of care professionals, foster a strong safeguarding culture, and ensure our high standards are upheld every day.Your focus will be on ensuring that we continue to enrich the lives of the people we support, helping them to thrive and get the most out of life.ResponsibilitiesLeading, developing and motivating a high-performing teamBuild trusting relationshipsPromote independence, choice and agency, encouraging the people we support to make their own decisions wherever possibleWork closely with the home team, professionals and families of people you support to provide the best care and supportMeet all governing body regulations and legislative requirementsDelivery and monitoring of all service provisions with the homeComplying with all company policies and proceduresPromoting a strong safeguarding cultureOperating within a defined budget and meeting all service standards and KPI'sTo be successful in the role you will:Ideally be an experienced registered manager in a similar CQC regulated environment.It is essential that you have NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.Have a passion for person-centred careBe able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality care, ideally with adults with autism and learning disabilitiesHave the ability to lead and develop a large team to support their career journeys to help them thrive and grow.Be flexible and manage your own hours to meet the needs of the business.
