Job Title: Panel BeaterThe full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Location: Whitstable, KentSalary: 20 - 22 per hour, depending on experienceHours: 42.5 hours per weekOverviewWe are working with a well-established Accident Repair Centre in Whitstable who are looking to recruit an experienced Panel Beater to join their skilled bodyshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to a high-quality repairer with strong structural and jig experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out all aspects of panel beating, from light to heavy accident damageUndertake structural repairs, including chassis alignment and jig workPerform bonding, welding, and riveting to manufacturer and industry standardsStrip and refit vehicle panels and components as requiredAccurately assess vehicle damage and determine repair methodsEnsure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standardsWork efficiently to meet job deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanshipMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Skills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair/bodyshop environmentConfident working on all panels and structural repairsStrong jig alignment experienceCompetent in bonding, welding, and riveting techniquesAbility to work on modern vehicles and mixed manufacturer repair methodsHigh attention to detail and pride in quality of workATA / NVQ qualifications desirable but not essential (experience is key) Package & Benefits20 - 22 per hour, depending on experience5-hour xjdpvnf working week Monday - FridayStable, long-term opportunity within a reputable accident repair centreModern workshop with professional equipmentSupportive and experienced team environment Streamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
