This role sits within a well-established engineering group known for its technical innovation, robust product range, and investment in modern manufacturing practices. You will co-ordinate the machine shop teams work to ensure that all parts are manufactured correctly in the most accurate, timely and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:Organise daily workload and ensure it is carried out in line with achieving KPIs Work with the Production Manager to facilitate the management of cell metrics, such as on-time delivery, quality performance, etc.Initial processing of Health and Safety - Accident and Near Miss reporting and follow-up / Risk Assessments and COSHH and Quality issuesSet and run assigned machinery safely Complete daily performance metrics and communicate results with the team.Requirements:Experience working on CNC machining (metal preferred) in a manufacturing or production environmentTeam leadership experience, including delegating tasks, managing workload, conducting performance and conflict management, etc.Ability to read CAD drawings and conduct first-off inspectionsKnowledge of MRP/ERP production systemsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning and quality systemsUnderstanding of Health & Safety procedures, including Risk Assessments and COSHH.Eligibility: Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)Electus Recruitment Solutions provides specialist engineering and technical recruitment solutions to a number of high-technology industries.
